Walking in snow, Austria
February 13–20, 2027
In English only
Imagine spending a week in a comfortable retreat center in the Austrian Alps. Meditation sessions and teachings in the mornings and evenings, and days spent hiking and skiing in silence on ski tours. A true yatra (meditative walk) in the snow.
Since 2013, numerous “Walking in the Snow” retreats have been offered, led by mountain guide Robert Kerneza, who shares his knowledge and love of the mountains with us. The silence of the snow-covered mountains, the wild and unspoiled nature of the remote places we visit, introspection, community, the regular practice of meditation, the teachings, the physical exertion, the crystalline beauty that surrounds us and touches our hearts—so many things that make this retreat a source of inspiration and deep peace.
