Silent Mountain Retreat
3 – 9 january 2022 | Admont, Austria
An invitation to immerse oneself in the vast landscapes of inner silence and to learn more about who we really are.
In this retreat we explore silence. Feeling the beauty of the snow-covered nature and being away from our everyday lifes will help us to pause and to observe our experience in the moment. It creates inner space and changes our perspective: we come in contact with ourselves and feel less imprisoned in our thoughts. We become more sensitive to what surrounds us and feel more connected to it.
The retreat will be structured with silent and guided meditations, meetings with nature, and exchanges with the teacher and with the group.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Since this week is about deepening our inner exploration, practitioners of all levels of meditation are welcome. Meditations stays challenging for most practitioners and Denis has a great gift for guiding us in a very practical way.
This year the focus will be on silence and not on ski-touring. There will be smaller walks in the afternoon and some body movement in the morning.
THE HOUSE
The Haus Benedikt is a beautiful and old house, located at the side valley near Admont. It is simple, yet very practical house, ideal for smaller groups. We will sleep in dormitories and we will invite our own cooks, who provide us with delicious vegan food. The house is around three hours from Vienna and the nearest trainstation is “Ardning”.
PRICE
The participation fee is 245€ and covers only our expenses. In addition, we ask for Dana (free donation for teachers and organizers, read about donation). We will have vegetarian and vegan meals, and there is room to care about food allergies if necessary.
Please contact us if you would like to come but your financial situation would prevent you from attending. We will find a way.
COVID MEASURES: “2G” & PCR
Please come vaccinated/recovered and take a PCR-test before you come.
If you feel sick in the days before the retreat, please don’t come, you will receive a full refund.
